In the art of flower arranging...... Here are some pro tips:

Select stems of the same flower. Remove all leaves which would be in the water and foul it over time. Add one aspirin to the water to help extend the life.

Cut fruit or long banana leaves tocover the stems.

Cut out the stamen of the lily. As the orange stains your clothing and tablecloths.

Use greenery to add textural elements (bear grass and lemon leaves).

One last tip; Add a penny to the water of your tulips, the copper in the penny helps to extend the life of the flowers.
